Albizia julibrissin — Pink Siris
An unusual small tree from the Leguminosae (pea) family, introduced in the mid-18th century.
The deciduous doubly-compound alternate leaves resemble those of Mimosa, but are larger. The delicate pinkish flowers appear in summer, and give rise to petit pois-like pods.
