Phil's Tree Pages

Hello and welcome to my tree pages!
Trees of Britain — photo-rich pages with key details to assist in the identification of over 300 species of tree grown in the UK
Tree Identification — additional pages highlighting the differences between species within a genus, or between unrelated species that are similar in some way
Trees of Cambridge — pages focusing on the trees in my home town of Cambridge
... and the inevitable Tree Wallpapers

Comments, queries and corrections welcome — you can contact me at philip@brassett.org.uk

What's new:
27-Feb-08 — A few more photos
13-Aug-07 — Cambridge Tree Tour added, plus more images
04-May-07 — Over 100 new images added; Cambridge tree maps updated
14-Mar-07 — Website released, with brief details on over 300 species, backed by over 500 images

Why treewatch? — no more 4am starts to half-see skulking little-brown-jobs that just might be (relatively) rare warblers — approach the tree without fear of it flying off; come back next month if you can't recognise it straight off; enjoy watching it slowly grow and change over the seasons and years — but don't forget the binoculars as not every tree obliges with foliage/flowers/fruit at head-height, nor by being on publicly-accessible ground!
