Sorbus thuringiaca — (Bastard Service)
A hybrid of Common Whitebeam and Common Rowan, the fastigiate form (‘Fastigiata’) of which is widely grown as a street tree.
The tree reliably produces a lollipop-shaped crown. The distinctive alternate leaves are a mix of the parents with some free leaflets and some lobes.
