Pittosporum tenuifolium — Kohuhu
A fairly common mid-19th century introduction from New Zealand.
The alternate leaves are evergreen and usually undulant. The buds are small and rounded. Purplish flowers are produced at the end of spring.
‘Silver Queen’ is a common form with variegated leaves.
