Euonymus europaeus — Spindle
An abundant native small tree, and widely planted for the decorative berries.
The opposite leaves are relatively small and are finely toothed. buds are green, and onion-dome shaped. The creamy flowers give rise to orange berries, backed by four magenta lobes.
