Cunninghamia lanceolata — Chinese Fir
An uncommon and striking early-19th century introduction.
The fresh green foliage is of 5cm leaves thickly surrounding the shoots, and the leaves have two white bands beneath. Small Cryptomeria-like cones are produced.
